OT: Barstool media-cred Cancelled by GotoHell

That site is like Bleacher Report for alcoholic Bostonians. How did they get the credential at all?

Well, I would say some real media is trash but there also is a lot of good. I think there are just standards in media that they do not meet. There needs to be at least be some sense of professionalism in what you do. If you expect to be getting credentialed into events nonetheless a Super Bowl.

Well I mean I think it's reasonable but still petty (just considering the arrest in NFL headquarters but then again it was silly deflategate). Shouldn't revoke credentials for stuff you disagree with but if it's just blantant ******** like HoPo is writing, then I think you should get credentials pulled for being a jackass.

The league pulled Super Bowl week credentials from Barstool Sports employees, forcing them to cancel scheduled appearances on Radio Row, including a planned spot on PFT Live today.

One thing not getting much mention here is the **** move to issue credentials and then pull them after appearances had been scheduled.

It makes you think that either something recent came up to piss off the NFL, or they really wanted to **** over Barstool.

For whatever it's worth, I'm fine with Barstool losing its credentials, and if I was Goodell I'd do the same thing. But he's absolutely full of **** when he claims he had no knowledge of it. In a career defined by unbelievable lies, this one stands out for lacking believability.
