I'm just hoping that another QB who backed up a future HOFer for a few years will have as much success...............

i hope cassell is watchin aaron rdgers!

did u guys see how aaron rodgers is playing today..i know its vs the lions but hes lookin real good! with all the pressure on his back he sure is shutting up a lot of his critics..hopefully cassell can manage a game pretty well like rodgers & if cassell comes out with a win today i think it"ll be really good for his confidence so hopefully everyone on NE comes out hungry...lets go pats!

Re: i hope cassell is watchin aaron rdgers!

I don't! I hope he's running over play calls or spending some bonding time with the guys who will help decide how he does.
[I was responding to a thread that has magically disappeared...]

Aaron sure is giving the Packers FO some cred, huh? If Brett loses today, the mourning will most likely be over.

haha how sick would that be...aaron rodgers taken over greenbay & then favre loses to tom bradys backup..i would be the happiest guy ever if we come out with a win!

lets pick off favre 4 times and get that int record higher

Rodgers - and to a more limited extent Orton - have looked pretty good so far this season for young QBs.

Well, until that play. Rodgers fumbled a snap last week against Minnesota too.

It was apparent in the Dallas game last year. Rodgers almost dug out of the whole Favre had dug.

Brett did have the audacity to claim this week that he wasn't surprised at Rogers looking good because he did learn while playing under his Lordship... Must have happened by pure and relatively selective osmosis...

He said that Rodgers learned under him both good and bad. There was no 'audacity'.
