I used Chrome at work and at home which defaults to Google.

In the past, I would enter "Patsfans" at the search line and it would instantly take me to this site.

That is no longer true. Now I have to add .com or fan forum to my entry.

Has anyone else noticed this?

i just bookmark the site so I don't have to search....

I use bing and all I have to is type p and my most popular p searches pop up.

Plus bing is the best for searching porn.

Porn virus?

All this time I thought Sammy scratched a post to search the net.

Morse code scratching or similar.

I just did a test on Duckduckgo, and typing in patsfans brings up this forum as the top search result.

patsfans at DuckDuckGo

Best I can do for you on the subject, as I avoid all things Google as much as possible.

I use Firefox ... Blank/New Tab has my top 16 site links on it ... Hit the link and go...

Avoiding all that tracking, I see. I just switched to a different chromium based browser on my phone to avoid Chrome's intrusive ass. Granted, it's moot by this point, but I'm over just letting people selling my data to advertising companies.

As best I can, I avoid the megatechs. Tracking/spying, censorship, heavy handed attempts to manipulate, etc... that stuff's not for me.

If you type "patsfans" into the address bar and hit "control-enter" rather than just "enter", it'll add the ".com" part for you. Also works in Firefox.

"hello?...is this thing on???...tap tap tap....blank/blink/bling?...hello?....WTH are you insane people talking about???"

Fer chrissakes, please tweet Ben Volin for proper usage.

When I first started posting on here a couple years ago, I remember this site got hijacked on my computer once and went to a porn site.
