Is it really necessary to modify every thread like this?

Obviously, it's your opinion.

I don't know who started this, but it has gotten out of hand.

Its guys like you who harp on every little thing that creates things like that. people complain that someone posts opinion like fact so this has become common.

I think everyone needs to chill on how other people post......

who cares about grammer, spelling, misleading thread titles, and other crap that gets complained about. I am here to talk football and so long as that happens it is ok if a thread title misleads me or if somone is extra careful not to be misleading.

We've done fine for years without all the OPINIONS, I'm just wondering why they have all the sudden become de rigeur.

I understand that, but how about "Free agents I want Patriots to sign" or "Should we trade for Asomughua" or others that are up on the first page right now. I just think newbies are confused about when they need to put "opinion."

The Ashomugha thread was merged from two threads about the same thing. One had the title "Trade for Asomugha???", so when I merged it, I gave it a new title.

The other one I had a title that looked to be txtd str8 frm the pstr.

I used to post some insider information but I have since stopped. All you get is "where's the link" B.S. ... I hate how the media has a hand in our forum but many members like it that way ... so that's how it is. I keep my info to myself now ... it is what it is.
