Not a whole lot different than Jimmy, except that he was actually close to being a free agent and not just a holdout candidate.

Yes, the cap implications get ignored completely. Effectively, if a team were to trade a 7th rounder for Trent Williams, they'd be trading the draft pick plus the cap dollars to Washington. The money moves with the player. Washington has $XX more salary to spend, and the team that acquired Williams effectively supplied it. That money is worth more than the player, which is why a trade hasn't happened.

That's because you would be a cold hearted GM, whereas BB more sensitive to his staff sent him to SF where he would have an opportunity to thrive as opposed to the Cleveland graveyard.
