Keep up the boycott

Do not forget what he and his rag of a newspaper did to spoil one of the biggest games ever in NE sports history.

He is still working for that rag...I will celebrate when he si fired or leaves town!

Absolutely! Hope to see him ousted!

I'm sure there's a boycott.

You can't blame a member of the media for reporting on a hot story.

I guess that you don't feel that the media has to have some journalistic ethics like a corroborating source or allowing the subject of the article to respond. But then you must consider the National Enquirer as a reputable newspaper

Technically, I think the Giants D-Line spoiled the game.

However, I will blame Tomasse and the Herald for guaranteeing the weekend would end with a sour taste in my mouth. They lost, but even had they won, there would have a been a taint to it because of the looming shadow.

Not much of a taint, and I would have been much happier, but a taint nonetheless

And if you see him on the streets. Heckel him and harass him....just dont get physical as the mods repremanded me for suggesting you do.

His existence is torture enough...I'd just LMAO at the fat pantload

Can we blame a member of the media for not ensuring their source was credible? No physical evidence, no second witness... just 1 disgruntled worker who was fired for illegally taping his conversations with his boss.

And to publish it right before the Super Bowl to boot.... couldn't wait a few days.... nope... had to get it in there just in time to distract everyone and call into quesiton the veracity of our past championships.

I am still in shock that there are people willing to defend Tomase and the Herald. My personal ban continues until Tomase and/or his editor publically apologize to BB, the Patriots, and to all Patriot fans.

Jackie Mac and Shank almost always write questionable stories right before big games in Boston. We'll see how credible Tomase was when the Walsh report comes out.

It will never matter to me, he could have always waited until Monday. I don't even look at the Herald anymore.

Jackie Mac is gone. She doesn't have a job in the Boston papers anymore, to my knowledge.

As for Tomase, he's not credible at all. Even if Walsh has a tape, which I don't believe he does otherwise there'd be no need for indemnity except from prosectution for larceny, it was not authorized by the Pats coaching staff. Walsh has been proven to be a liar on several occasions, including falsifying his resume and mis-representing himself. So, what makes you believe that he's not been lying since then just to damage the Patriots even further?

Walsh broke the law by taping Pioli illegally. Its why he was fired.

Walsh claimed he had a Non-disclosure agreement regarding the Patriots. The Patriots said this is false.

Walsh lied about what his position was within the organization, claiming he was an area scout. He was nothing more than a glorified film processing tech.

Walsh lied about his golfing background to get his job in Maui.

Walsh has zero credibility. Anyone with half a brain can see that.

Just because there are others that pull this kind of crap, doesn't excuse Tomase? I don't believe I read anything from Jackie Mac or Shank, or I might boycott them as well.

As to Tomase' credibility, there is nothing Walsh can say or produce that will excuse the mistake by Tomase. Tomase didn't require proof BEFORE publishing the article, nor did he ensure he had another source other than Walsh.... who is clearly jaded.

Tomase even admitted in his own article that if Walsh produces a film of the Ram's walkthrough, it will still not have proven that the Patriots did anything wrong... he could have filmed it on his own with the Patriot's knowledge.

So, that being the case, why print the story at all?

It was a publicity grab at the cost of the Patriots right before the biggest game in their history. As a fan, that is unforgivable.

I only hope the Patriots freeze Tomase out even worse than us fans.

I ALMOST clicked on a linked in article in someone's post here. It was frightening!

Nothing would please me more than to see that rag go bankrupt and Tomase to be pushing a shopping cart around filled with empty soda cans.

Anyone know what the recycled can to donut ratio is?

i hope that whole newspaper goes down in flames. without subscriptions or sales, they go bankrupt.

I agree. Tomasse did not let the game winning int drop. He isn't blameless, but the next time I see a reporter suit up will be the first.

They broke the Monica Lewinski story. *shrugs*

Oh dear, the President got a BJ. I'm amazed anyone besides Hillary and Chelsea cared. Same hype machine as spygate writ large.

(There were plenty of good reasons to hate Clinton, but sex sells papers.)

Tommose did not lose the super bowl for the Pats, he did not block tackle or drop the game winning int, but he did let a story linger that could have died away..

1 thing he did , is take away from Andre Tippets HOF moment because of this crap.. It should have been the best Pats weekend in Pats history, we may never see that until Brady retires... The luster was taken off of that...

And if you see him on the streets. Heckel him and harass him....just dont get physical as the mods repremanded me for suggesting you do.

Why bother? The guy was obviously a pawn. ("We respectable media can't report it, but we can report on it being reported, then let the patsy take the heat if it is wrong.") Winning back the gambit pawn is insignificant.
