First look again at this tremendous ST play and Danny return - and enjoy!

Then play it slow or even frame by frame - and savour the incredible all around effort - savour the magic:

On the first level three great blocks of King, Develin and Richards (who takes out two Bills) clear the first part of the road for Danny (note that Slater doesn't get involved .. he just passes through .. trusting his teammates to do their job .. rushing to the next level). On the second level Mingo slips but manages to hold McCray (56) just enough that he is late for tackle .. meanwhile Chung holds the closest guy to Danny and trio of Slater, Ebner and Bolden take out two guys on the other side and Danny can pass through again. Before NE 40y line Danny escapes two tackles (adding a world class pirouette) while well synchronised duo of McClellin and Grissom (I guess) clear the road further up. Accross the midfield Mingo (coming from behind) smacks Robey-Coleman (21) off of Danny and he makes it to the last line of defense at 25y line where first Richards then Chung just miss tackles on the last two Bills and Danny goes down.

Great to see so many clean blocks and tackles on one play .. as well as synchronisation and trust in each other to do their job.

PS
I don't know if Bill will be playing this clip in the team meeting (at least before the end of the season) but I bet he'll play it for himself a few times.

Belichick was gushing over this kick return in the press conference calling it "huge". When he sees the coordinated blocking in the film review, he'll be even more proud.

And on the very next play, Amendola throws a key block that sets up the Edelman TD.

We have outstanding, willing blockers on our team. Everytime I am in a discussion where people say Edelman is having a bad season I point out how he is a key blocker on many big gains. Same can be also said about Hogan and Dola (when he gets a chance).

I really, really like the balance and level of effort on this year's team.
