On to the Jets!

Offense ranks 8th in S&P.

To say it's not good is stupid.
Ok, maybe "not good" wasn't the right term to use, but its also equally stupid to think this offense can go on this way. They've already been exposed by Buffalo. After browns, the games will get tougher but I'm sure we make a trade and the O is much better.

All points count.
How did they not move the ball? they had 27 first downs, 427 total yards and completed over 75% of passes.

yes, against the worst defenses in the league. We have some tough games coming up and it wont be as easy. I believe Bill will get a trade for help. Don't take my word for it, just listen to Brady's tone and answers when asked about this offense in its current state.

He knows its not that great right now.

Just think: The Patriots are going to be coming off of the long week, and should be in position to do much better with the offense because of rest and extra time to scheme against the opponent. So, we could see the offense rip up the Jets defense, and then all the homers will be acting as if that's an accomplishment that proves the offense is fine.

Offense had a bad first half in Washington, and only pulled away after the 'skins defense began to tire. It was 12-7 at the half, for crying out loud.

Against the Giants, the first score was off a blocked punt, and the second score came on a drive that started from the Giants' 20 yard line following an interception. The Patriots then had one legitimate scoring drive to end the half. In the second half, the Patriots scoring opened with a KVN TD on a forced fumble and recovery. So the Patriots only had 2 real scoring drives all game, against a terrible Giants defense.

So claiming that the offense had a bad day in Buffalo, but has been just ducky otherwise, simply doesn't fit the facts.

Totally agreed.

As i mentioned, this offense HAS to get better cause in a few weeks, the better teams are coming. Atleast better than the teams we've been playing. Buffalo already exposed them once. I know this is due to injuries, otherwise, I think our offense is still pretty good, especially with Harry coming back and a potential trade coming but they need help, now. They get Sanders, I'd be happy.

It's looking more and more like the Pats v Buffalo game at Gillette could be for the division...Brady had nothing on offense to throw to and they can't run The ball. Allen playing great today. Buffalo schedule is garbage, might have 2 losses coming into Gillette...the game Monday night is WICKED big and it's not going to be a walkover

Exactly!

I was just talking about this with someone. I hope they do kill the Jets but definitely doesn't fix the issues at hand. Brady is frustrated and he's not holding back about it.

Was it your dad?

Pats offense has clearly struggled but when I compare them to other offenses across the league I am not sure that they fall out of top tier. The Chiefs with Mahomes is probably better but who else? Am not sold on Baltimore. Is there even one other AFC team with a good offense? Houston seems decent but nothing special.

Then you check the NFC and all seem to have some problems as well. Top scoring teams include Seattle who seem to be able to score late but are not consistent. 49ers? Panthers? A bunch of meh.

Pats could certainly use some help and I expect they will get it but when you check the rest of the league I just don't see many dynamic offensive teams this year.

Agree except for Baltimore. They seem like they could pose some issues when we play them.

I hate Monday night games.

I’m going to watch the game at a fan club bar in Guadalajara, Mexico. If I survive and the Pats win it will be awesome.

I hope so.. other than white and Edelman we are extremely sorry thin at wr... Hopefully a breakout game for Myers... Tightends beat up too... It's gonna be a tough game

As is often the case, this message board is where we have the ones who think that the patriots will have trouble with pathetic injury-ridden teams.

Yup every game is a cakewalk.

On the contrary, we face lots of contenders who could provide us tough games. we've already played one of those games with BUF.
