I like going after good player of winning teamWe should try to get OT/OG Mekhi Becton from the Eagles: I think he's ready to play Tackle.
Not surprising as he had a career yesr and loves being on eagles. They have the cap space.
ILBs are one of the cheapest position who play all 4 downsgood
i hate overpaying one year wonders who excelled playing in a great defense
even our LB would look good behind that D-Line
Even on one leg they're still better than what we currently got...so there.Aiyuk + Kirk would be perfectly fine, but still an issue of both guys coming off injury
Yep.

Why? He should be dominant in the passing game but just isn't. He has 10 TDs total in 4 years and hasn't broken 700 yards since his rookie year. You're still fantasizing about draft pick Pitts and rookie Pitts. In reality, it was a major overdraft to take him at 4.He would send T-Rex arms Henry to the bench. Huge fan of Kyle Pitts.
RK accountant alert let's save the Krafts $$$$$$$.Why? He should be dominant in the passing game but just isn't. He has 10 TDs total in 4 years and hasn't broken 700 yards since his rookie year. If I recall, Stewart has a track record. So I’ll treat as legit, and that the 617 account made something up that happened to be correct.James Stewart over at 98.5 says his sources are saying the same thing about Aiyuk.
Atlanta is a $hitty Franchise if you haven't realized. I think he can reach his Potential with Josh McDaniels. Why? He should be dominant in the passing game but just isn't. We are going to give him 25 mill?If I recall, Stewart has a track record. So I’ll treat as legit, and that the 617 account made something up that happened to be correct.
Sherwood was identified in Doug Kyed’s article earlier this week as a Pats target based on rumors he’s heard from the Pats at the combine.I like Nick Bolton a lot for us. Also Sherwood of the Jets. Remake the LB room to fit the new scheme that prioritizes speed and aggression vs. read and react principles. Bolton isn't a coverage specialist by any means, but he's an every down player and someone who can make plays.
When did I mention anything about money? You are not a smart man.RK accountant alert let's save the Krafts $$$$$$$.
Yup that's where I got the name from. Not someone really on my radar until I saw his name but I like the profile of player.Sherwood was identified in Doug Kyed’s article earlier this week as a Pats target based on rumors he’s heard from the Pats at the combine.
Blushing. When did I mention anything about money? You are not a smart man.
Graphic is incomplete. His cap numbers are actually lower than this for us if we acquire him. In 2025 it would be $6,591,000 and in 2026 it would be $11,623,000. The difference is $4.6M/year because that's the signing bonus amortization that SF already paid and retains on their cap.Aiyuk's contract isn't bad at all. I could care less about the actual dollars that Kraft has to spend. His cap numbers for the next two years are low and if he hasn't been worthy of a new extension to lower his 2027 number, 9.2m in dead money in 2027 is nothing given what the cap ceiling is going to be a that point.
He's still very young.I would kick those tires and make him a full-time WR.

Your $9.2M dead money number is way off though because it isn't currently taking into account his option bonuses of $22,855,000 for 2025 and $24,935,000 for 2026. This amounts will be paid in those years, but amortized through 2030 for cap purposes. That's why the cap is so low despite him being paid that cap.
If they cut him after two years though, the difference between what they paid on those options and what would have counted on the cap is the dead money charge. It'd be a total of $33,661,000 of dead money.
If I recall, Stewart has a track record. So I’ll treat as legit, and that the 617 account made something up that happened to be correct.
