What a game. Dmac makes another huge play with the forced fumble that put the game away. Floyd with the impressive push into the end zone and that BLOCK!

No injuries. HFA. Can't ask for more than that

It's not worry. Jeezus.

I get it. The Patriots are infallible and shall not lose to anyone.

Fact: KC has a much better chance of winning in Foxboro than Oakland or Houston. Why not root for the sure thing? You're acting as if we're quaking with fear if it doesn't go that way.

I give KC maybe a 10 -20% chance in Foxboro.

The Oak/Hou dumpster fires have about 1% chance. Rooting for that outcome does not make one a scaredy pants. It certainly makes one logical and intelligent though.

Not only that but an easier opponent reduces the risk of injuries to key players if you can pull them out early. It makes no sense to want to face KC in the Div. Round just to act macho or some other weird and irrational reason.

Because I see no real difference in the chances of losing to those teams and as I said if kc is a concern this team isn't going far.
Its ok though keep telling me why my opinion should be the same as yours.

It's kinda crazy that if Denver & KC wins, we're pretty much guaranteed to face one of the 3 crappy backup QBs, at home, in the Divisional.

That would be one of the easiest paths to the Super Bowl I've seen in a long time.
My gut tells me it will be a snow game and I don't see a team from Miami,Oakland or Houston looking forward to it.

@PFF_NateJahnke
Patriots OTs Nate Solder and Marcus Cannon combined for 0 sacks allowed, 0 hits allowed and 0 hurries allowed today.

Jeesh, looks like either Houston or Oakland is going to win a playoff game

Funny.
IMHO Oakland is in desperate trouble. Their D isn't that good and now for a road playoff game they will be starting a guy who has like 10 regular season passes in his career. Hard luck for Oakland but it is what it is. Houston at home with a pretty good D with a QB that at least has big game experience.

Attention Houston fans - you heard it here first: go ahead and book your tickets for Foxboro (sorry Phins - you're toast in Pitt). Also to Houston fans: as of Saturday the 14th or Sunday the 15th, start contemplating how you will fill your Sundays until Houston's next game in September.

For the Patriots' D I see two soft areas: (1) Pass rush is inconsistent. Sometimes it's good, even very good, and sometimes it is not (their 3 man rush has often been effective). (2) Their pass Defense up the middle sometimes shows softness (part of it is by design - part of it is just personnel/other teams being better).
For the Patriots' O, from what I can get from the TV view, teams are having some success crowding the underneath (it appears the Patriots struggle a bit to find he right adjustments against a team that can crowd effectively).

Bottom line: I don't see this Patriots team as having one area that is a singular dominating juggernaut. They do have a few 'soft spots'. But the overall balance of our 2016 team is excellent. And the balance means we likely will win the next 2 games (not we will but we are likely to) and if we do make the SB we are likely to be favored. No that doesn't mean a SB win is certain, however, as Patriot fans we are living the high life once again. And this year's balance looks like it will provide the high life+.

Tackling was bad on several plays
Van Noy wasnt so good in coverage last two games.
Jordan Philips will be causing some troubles for pats in next couple of years.
Refs were like some tackling efforts from pats players
Butler should be priority to sign
I hope that BB will give Floyd ride home.

Why i am not that satisfied about this win, on the road against 10-6 team, putting 35 points. Guess i am spoiled
Guess so.

I'm not being optimistic or pessimistic. I'm saying he had a severe long term injury and Mitchell appears just a lityke banged up.

Actually I'm saying if Edelman hogan Floyd Mitchell amendola are all healthy it's possible that amendola could be the healthy inactive.
definitely agree with you on that. At this point in the season it is so unusual to have all the WRs healthy it's hard to know what to do about it. I figure there's a chance they're all active, or the choice of inactive is decided by game plan and opponent matchups more than anything else. Apart from that if they're all healthy the other one I'd think is a likely scratch would be Hogan, for ST availability Dola would have an edge.

I was giddy watching Floyd play today. Dude made a huge impact! What an opportunity for this young man to get. Hopefully winning is enough motivation for him to stay out of trouble. He's a talented guy and I would love for him to stick around long term.

Anyone here concerned with the malcom brown doghouse treatment? How long will it last. Did he even play any snaps?
