I'm happy that the NFL is now taking head injuries this seriously that a team will hold back its most important player in a big game and on national TV to boot.

Takes the pressure off to play McCourty a lot, I would think.

Coaches' challenge now is "no letdown." I'm pretty sure they're up to it. "Remember Cleveland" is a nice rallying cry.

I'd be lying if I said this didn't make me happy. In all honesty though I'd be happy from a Packer perspective too, the best decision for his career IMO.

Totally agree. I think it would be egregious for the Packers to have allowed Rodgers to suit up and start if he gained medical clearance. Imagine if he had received another concussion tomorrow night. Does someone know if the chances of sustaining concussions increases if you have already had one?

We'll probably never know, but I'd be curious to hear how much time was spent with the defensive game plan with Rodgers in mind. Seemed like a foregone conclusion he would be out after the concussion.

Looks like Brady won't get to abuse "Mr. Guarantee" tomorrow night, to make room for the QB the Packers are signing from the practice squad, Anthony Smith will be placed on IR.

Yup, now GB will need to lean more on their running game against our powerful defensive line of Deaderick, Wilfork, Leonard, Moore and Love.

Rodgers is one of the most likeable guys in the league and a damn fantastic QB to boot (he is now the holder of the highest passer rating and TD/INT ratio in NFL history). It's a shame we won't get to see him play on sunday.

Week 11 - Green Bay 31 @ Minnesota 3

By the time the Green Bay Packers played Dallas and Minnesota, the wheels already came off the cart.

That's too bad; I would have really enjoyed seeing the back of his jersey five yards away from the Patriot receiver he was covering a few more times.
