Official PreSeason Game Thread #3 - Pat's @ Lions

Butler has been lousy this entire pre season.
Which is a sharp contrast to all the reports in practices that stated he looked like the best defender on the field numerous times. I think he even has the most interceptions of Brady in the practices so far. I'm sure he'll be fine. The D will be fine too once they start scheming for specific opponents.

I'm biting my fingernails wondering if Brady and Hogan will ever establish a connection on that deep ball.

Worth noting.

Someone, somewhere, is excited about the Edelman injury because it means Carr will make the team.

Kid fumbled the ball on the hand off. They are no better than Detroit it seems.

BB knows exactly how Julien is doing. He just isn't say.

He doesn't look happy but that doesn't mean anything.

So who would they keep? Lucien?
DJ Foster, and then to me, it's a coin flip after that. Lucien, the undersized Chris Harper type, or Carr, who seems to make amazing catches only because he's too slow to actually be in position to make it look routine.

Hell, they might keep Hollister as a 4th TE before they keep Carr/Lucien.

Wonder what Bills halftime speal was "If we play like that again in the second half, we're going to get killed."

Branch held onto Stafford like he was a tasty cheese burger.

Bates is low key my preseason binky
