To look back at recent history - the Bengals drafted Burrow and Higgins high, but went into the season with a ****-tier OL. This caused Burrow to get hurt early and miss most of his rookie season. Due to that they went into the next draft with another high pick and got Chase, which led them to be a Super Bowl team that same season (though they still had some OL issues, but it was a little better).
You don't want to read to much into pre season but this team might be even worse than last year.
Any dip in the defense in the post BB era and we could be looking at the first pick, you can already see the Bengals game in week one turning into a debacle where the offensive line is manhandled and it's just turnovers and sacks galore.
