Settling for 64 yard field goals over letting your rookie qb get vital plays with no timeouts and needing 10 yards
Look, it's more important to figure out who will kick for the Pats during this 1-16 season. But seriously, I'm glad he didn't have to stand behind that OL one more time.

Drake Maye is giving me legitimate hope for the future but this offensive line is so ****ing bad!
Everyone should have hope at this point that Drake has franchise QB potential. A few trolls who love wallowing in their own **** here will do everything to convince themselves otherwise, but for the rest of us, we can look forward to fixing the OL next season and seeing where this ride takes us.

The line has been horrible

Could Chuks be cut? I’ve never seen someone so unwilling to fix something so simple.
He’s not good enough to not see some kind of repercussions from this IMO… Cut might be harsh though especially since they need tackles and he has done an okay job besides this…

Well, I look at it like this. Every snap, every penalty, sack, interception, Good throw/ bad throw, Maye is getting experience. I’m ok with that.

The OL coach should be the one screamed at.

And this is vintage Chuks Okorafor. Just ask a Steelers fan.

No wonder Lowe played LT most of the preseason. At least his head is on straight.

Even the refs are like “I can’t believe this dude can’t just take a half step forward.”
Shouldn't Maye be picking up on this stuff as well? Everything's right in front of him (except maybe a RB).

Probably… but it might be hard to tell from his angle behind the line?

There was little time left too so might as well see what the kicker can do.

Chuks made Lowe look amazing. He was not bad in pass protection, but **** he has been in the league long enough to know where he needs to line up.

The biggest worry I had with Mayo outside of my preference for an offensive mind to pair with a rookie was his lack of experience and connections around the league and his ability to put together a good enough coaching staff and I’m worried this staff is about to be badly exposed as not up to the job in several areas.

Embarrassing. Almost like he’s intentionally giving a “FU I don’t want to play LT” performance

I’d rather have the kicker shank 60 yd FG than have Maye launch a likely prayer INT
