Carr has run against Butler and Gilmore. They know what he can do.

Yeah, he's consistently wrecking preseason-game-4 level secondary talent. Which is what legitimate NFL talent (which I think he has) should do.

He's not just beating them by a half step, which would be a red flag because you're not getting that half step on real NFL corners. He was wide open every time Brissett threw to him.

Carr's also not small, which I think is getting overlooked a bit. He looks slightly bigger than Edelman.

I guess it says a lot about how I prioritize Pats vs. Yankees that I find watching the Pats get blown out in game 4 of the preseason way higher than Sox vs. Yankees.

Our starters are the best in football, but why do our backups always suck and get their asses kicked against other team's backups . I don't get it. Our backups are one hit away from starting.

The simple explanation is that these guys aren't used to playing together as a team. There is no coordination or chemistry.

How in the hell are the Giants up 34-14. I'm so confused.

Part pick six, part the Pats having zero depth at DE. Anyone who's even backup caliber has already made the team, so the guys we're playing tonight are a real reach. Also our CB depth is looking pretty suspect after CB4, and we aren't exactly running an exotic scheme out there.

Yeah, I think of it this way: the Pats benefit more than any other team from coordination, scheming, and chemistry. Now name three things that basically don't exist in preseason game 4.
