The pats averaged 33.5 PPG, 418.3 YPG & the #1 EPA offense from weeks 13-17. That wouldn't have been possible if LT was a disaster. Lowe should be re-signed.
It's very unlikely that Lowe will be re-signed. With the large contract that Dan Moore got last year Lowe will probably be signed to be a starter in the 12-18M range.
Lowe needs to do what is right to take care of his family. His personal story is compelling and if he has a shot at generational wealth he should take it.

That said he seems like a really solid character guy so loyalty might be important enough to him for a reasonable discount. It would be great if the Patriots could find a way to reward his growth with a fair contract that keeps him here.

Might not be possible if he’s really offered starting LT money. For his sake I hope he is; for our sake I hope maybe not quite.

A good win yesterday for sure. I like that the Patriots used their RB's split wide as WR's more to make up for the loss of Hollis. I think that it is going to give other teams something to think about going forward. This is why Josh McDaniels is important to the Patriots. Also, they need to give Douglass more targets.
Douglas didn't see a lot of snaps because of his hamstring. I was ok with that, honestly.

If it wasn't for the fact that NIKE is making the shirts and such, I might have bought one.

Think I'll wait for the hats that matter most.

It's so crazy that Drake Maye goes 19/21 256 yards and 5 TDs while battling a cold. This kid is special!

Maye set all kinds of never before done NFL records with his performance against the Jets.

He's the first QB to ever throw 5 TDs to 5 different WRs. He's also the only QB in NFL history to throw for 90% or better with at least 20 pass attempts in 2 games in the same season.

Gotta think film review will show Chism needs to be looked for earlier in Maye's progression. Chiz's future looks bright.
Not sure I agree
I like Chism
But Maye completed 90% of his passes and out of the 2 incompletions. 1 was a drop
I think his progressions were spot on

This dude is setting records left and right, this QB did this, that QB did that, these QBs did this and they all won MVPs.

But Stafford...Stafford is the MVP at 11-4 record.

Let’s see how he does against Atlanta this half….

I couldn't blame him for that because it was not going to be a legit interview. I am convinced they had made up their mind by then

I agree, he knew they were hiring Vrabel and wasn't going to participate in a charade.

we live up in NH and there is a NASTY cold going around up here that has our entire household handicapped. i mean i can hardly get up out of my computer chair cause my entire body aches. if he has anything close to that he's a real dog

It shouldn't be overlooked that Diggs catches 82% of everything thrown to him - and had six catches on six targets today alone.

For comparison, in his record breaking season with the Pats, Randy Moss was missing 4 out of 10 passes thrown to him - and MOST of them were being thrown for him.

That was a liability in the playoffs. Diggs is more than 50% better than that - missing less than 2 out of every 10 passes thrown his way.

It sounds crazy but I'd rather have Diggs and a spread offense rather than our 2007 WR tandem of going to Moss and Welker nearly every play.

Ummm, yeah, about that...

Moss and Welker would obliterate defenses in this era. The offense broke records then, imagine what they'd do now.

Would they win the Super Bowl more easily now than they did then?
