I Chism'd... multiple times with no refractory period. Hooooollllly crap.

In all seriousness, seeing how his teammates celebrated with him (especially his fellow WRs) was super awesome... and Drake Maye is un f'ing real.
Against a bad Jete team and he lost his balance on the first catch, but I just saw some Amendola in him today. Not fast but was hitting the routes correctly, using quickness to get himself open, strong hands and overall toughness. I think he’s benefited a ton by being on the roster and learning behind the scenes while not being beaten up. Will be interesting to see how he looks in next year’s training camp with a full year of the system and full offseason program.

It just occurred to me but with Diggs getting his 500k bonus and Moses getting a 1.5m bonus today, that has to be a good signal to send to future potential FAs that "come to NE and you'll get paid".
I think Drake Maye, Vrabel, and 13 wins are a good signal to sign with the Pats. I said this even before we drafted Maye, he will help free agents to sign with the Pats. 4200+ yards and 30 TD passes will be a tremendous help get them free agents too.

Yeah once those 2 passes hit the ground I knew cindirella's time was up
Yep clock struck midnight. Thank god Dobbs was able to come in a guarantee the win. People are going to say but one incompletion was a drop and I say well maybe he should throw a catchable ball.

I was cackling like an idiot the entire time I typed that. I love Maye so much

Sorry man, Coach Glenn what a bastard that thought he was too good for us.

Way town it, good on ya! That right there is how it's done

Nobody seems to be talking about this, but that was practically a penalty-free game. That one dubious roughing-the-passer call where in the replay you clearly see him keeping his weight off the QB.

The Patriots have come a long way from the beginning of the season on the penalty front.

Their hurry up offense has significantly improved too, remember the delays of game we had earlier this season. Was a problem last year under AVP the entire year; they got this turned around real quickly in-season this year.

Aaron Glenn has those cryin Jordan eyes.

I never thought I would say this, but I feel bad for Tony Maserati. He and Greg Bedard are really going to have to struggle to get their three downs this week in Bedard's segment.
I certainly don't like those guys, or maybe more accurately don't put a shred of accountability in anything they say, but I will say that Felger has been quite positive on the Pats so far. I rarely work from home now, so don't see the show often, but the few times I have watched this year, Felger has been uncharacteristically positive on the Pats.

Really not much to take away from this game good and bad outside of rookie play. As for the rookies...

Williams 2 steps forward 1 step back. Made 3 catches, great! A bad drop! Boo. Consistency is the key. He'll have another game to get more. This was overall a step forward in the end... and it sucks there has to be a step back, but that is how it usually goes. Most rookies are a constant 2 steps forward 1 step back with rare exceptions.

Chism looked good, but almost lost his feet on that first catch.

Henderson looking healthier. He will be ready. Already a weapon. Campbell is wait and see.

Woodson already looks like a Vet... it is really incredibly. Wilson is also a wait and see.

The back of the draft hasn't been amazing, but it usually isn't. Farmer was doing okay, sad he got IR'd. Bryant... Did he even play today? I forget. Swinson has been dissapointing... It won't be happening for him this year clearly.

Overall rounds 1-4 looks like a huge success.

Do you think Williams and Campbell play next week, regardless of how today plays out?
They might need 2 or 3 series just to remove a little rust.

Borg missed FG will be one.
Williams drop plus a more experienced receiver might have been able to keep his feet in bounds and catch the ball thrown out of bounds.
