THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.

the problem is as long as Coach/GM Bill is around they will win 6-9 games a year and will never bottom out. they'll beat the bum teams with crappy or rookie qbs, and they will never have a top 5 pick. so Bill will be picking around #10 at the highest. if there's no offensive lineman or defensive lineman that Bill deems worthy of #10, he will trade down because we know Bill isn't taking a skill position player at 10. he'll trade down and we'll have the same crap that caused the crap drafts of ras I Dowling, Terrence Wheatley, Duke Dawson, et al....

Also they never reviewed the Tyquan Thornton catch under 2 minutes. He had two toes in before coming down out of bounds with his heels. That should've been reviewed but you can't challenge a call under 2 minutes.
The Rookie was out he has a ways to go.

Kraft laying down the law with Bill in getting rid of all those guys will result (I guarantee) in Bill's resignation. Maybe the team needs to move on from him.
Bill resigning is a best case situation for Kraft as he won't owe him his sizable salary for all the years remaining in his contract.

Now you're clowning
Nah, Mac missed like 5 wide open throws that game. The oline gave him time, he had 0 sacks and wasn't running for his life. Coaches schemed guys open, Mac didn't execute.

My understanding is that if your toe touches down and then your heel touches down, without the toes coming up (i.e, not a "toe tap"), then the heel must also be in-bounds. All of your foot must be in, unless it is a toe tap. That's why they teach the toe tap.

Bill Parcells won a super bowl with a backup quarterback, he took Quincy Carter to the playoffs...
The NFL before Y2K was just peewee football with 6 teams, that **** aint impressive

Don’t the last two drafts give you increased confidence that instead of the guys you listed they will draft guys like Marcus and Jack Jones?

I don’t think teams necessarily need to have high picks to be able to rebuild through the draft. I think in a rebuild it’s more important to stack good drafts year after year which they have started to do.

He also hit Agholor, and Henry in the hands 3 plus times. Blame to go all around but you can’t escape he and the offense put them in position to win

He hit Henry in the hands behind him about 3 feet above his head. Sure, it hit his hands, but it was a poor throw. Mac's mechanics suck, and he's been really not all that accurate.

They are calling this play the Sin City Miracle…

Years down the line Bill taking Mac to the playoffs could also be looked at as success.

Ball would have hit him in the head

Pereira said the exact opposite last week

no, because this is an offensive league and Belichick has not shown he can draft an outside WR...EVER....they need to score points in 2023 and another jack Jones or Marcus Jones isn't going to help them score 3 tds a game

Pats fans used to laugh all the suckbag teams who did stupid things, now we're one of them every since Brady walked out the door.

Tonight was even dumber than the Colts fake punt, who just blindly chucks the ball back 20 yards into the middle of the field with no time left in a tie game?

Ball would have hit him in the head
Yes, it was a good throw, especially in a tight window

3 feet over his head is a gross exaggeration, you're right
