No. It didn't bounce off the ground.. Sorry.. you're seeing things.

It moved on contact with the ground, but did not cause the receiver to lose control. As been said, that rule was changed like ten years ago or more - ball can move on contact with the ground - but every forum needs a martyr to try and prove that the Patriots "got away with something"...from the NFL rule book (see note 1):

COMPLETED OR INTERCEPTED PASS

A player who makes a catch may advance the ball. A forward pass is complete (by the offense) or intercepted (by the defense) in the field of play, at the sideline, or in the end zone if a player, who is inbounds:

a. secures control of the ball in his hands or arms prior to the ball touching the ground; and

just back from the Razor....THIS was football weather. You could hear the helmets cracking on contact. I think the "he hit the wall!!!!" by the super-knower-of-things idiots on this board is now revealed to be complete and utter bullcrap...much like every single pukefest post they make all day and night.

Seeing Stephenson up close today I came away a bit shocked at what a bruising,talented running back he is. No ball security issues either even though he was gang tackled and had the Browns ripping at his arms and hands almost every single run. BB sitting him down early in the season seems to have worked as intended. I'm one Patriots fan who has trust and respect for this coaching staff. What they have put togehter is astounding IMO.

Yeah, but...Mac Jones and the Wall...jeezus krist... can't wait to read the NEW whackjob complaints tonight and tomorrow.

I just got home from the stadium a little while ago too. That was a super satisfying one and I wish the weather would be like that every game. Cold enough to feel it but not so cold that my daughter was complaining the whole time. (but to be honest I complain more than she does.)

Mac had some absolutely gorgeous passes today! So much arch and touch on the ball, the receivers must love catching passes from him!

I was nervous about this game lol, what a ****ing beating

I was shocked at how lop-sided the game turned out to be. Even without Chubb, the Browns walloped Denver and Johnson put up 146 yards on 22 carries.

Johnson had 95 yards today on a 19 carries, but 58 yards of them came on 4 carries of the first drive. So the remaining 15 carries resulting in 37 yards .. That speaks volumes about how the defense buckled down.

After that first series, the Pats front 7 just mauled the much vaunted Browns O-line. Even though they were missing Jack Conklin, the rest of the line didn't miss a beat last week.. This week was another story. They gave up 5 sacks and probably double or even triple that in pressures.

Harris has been given a huge pass on injuries, mostly because many were focusing their unexplainable hatred toward Sony Michel who I think missed less games than Harris has at this point. People said he was injury prone, waste of a draft pick, etc but for some reason Harris gets a pass constantly when he gets an injury


Very excited about Stevenson and Harris tho as a 1-2 duo

It's because Harris was a 3rd round choice while Sony was a 1st round Choice.
