Well the Christmas “Pat Patriot” jersey got off to a good start. Don’t recall too many wins by 40 points prior to “Elvis” that’s for sure…. We’re on to Miami..
Watching the first two drives from Mills and Lane makes me appreciate Jones 10x as much. He may not be perfect, but wow, what a difference in poise, timing, and command of the offense.
Good win. On to the dreaded at MIA game next week. Let’s pay them back for week 1.
Meanwhile...Trever Lawerence is a good example why top QB prospects need to avoid going to dumpster fire franchises which derail their careers. From the Owner, GM, Coach, and roster, they are awful. Lawrence only has himself to blame.
Let's try to keep our threads straight folks. We've got people posting about other NFL games in the AB thread and people posting about other NFL games in this thread. This is the JAGS POST-GAME THREAD - I just deleted like 12 posts that were misplaced. Lol
No doubt about todays game. The team, or at least some key players, had visibly more energy today. Speaking from my experience, it would not be shocking if Dugger and others were dragging a bit the last couple of weeks due to COVID. Whatever it was, good to see the team respond. Hopefully they can carry that attitude into the playoffs.
If you were told before the 2021 draft started that Mac Jones would defeat Trevor Lawrence head to head by 40 points later that year, would you believe it? Now that it has come to pass, it makes it even all the more incredible that Mac Jones slipped to us at 15. Kid easily could have padded his stats more but he didn't need to because we were winning by SO MUCH that he could sit for most of the 4th quarter.
230 yards 3 TDs and 73% passing, leading us to 44 points while he was on the field by Mac Jones. Can't get much more efficient than that!
He was a top prospect for a few years in College. He would’ve had leverage to avoid going to a franchise like the Jags (if he made it known) because other teams would’ve made a deal with the Jags (say like the 49ers to get him). However, like all but Eli and Elway, they’d rather not fight it so they can be the #1 overall pick.
Great win. Gotta consider the opponent, but we have 10 wins and a playoff berth. Season officially a success coming off the losing record. Great offseason and season for bb the goat, dont know if this team is ready for a real sb run but we’re definitely building towards it!
