We got robbed the refs on the td but it wouldn’t have come to that if offense could score points right from the start.
Offensive line play has killed this team since day one....Can’t win it all with this OL, WR set and barely a TE ....

I know Brady was downplaying the elbow, but I wonder...

I was watching the SF-NO highlights and both JG and more importantly Geezer Brees had way more zip on their throws than Brady did.

Perhaps the elbow is worse than he’s letting on. At least I hope it’s the elbow.
Last yr it was the knee

I was at the game.....ZERO separation from our WRs.

I’m embarrassed we wasted a second round pick on Sanu when we could have gotten a McLaurin, Deebo, Brown, or Metcalf in next years draft

Don’t know how we fix this league worst talent on offense...

Defense is awesome and has so much heart and fight in them..what a strip by McCourty

I don’t agree. At least one receiver they had separation on at least a dozen plays and Brady couldn’t get the ball there because he didn’t have time or he missed the receiver or he went elsewhere. We’ll see with the A22.

Good realistic post

So the Refs cost us about 10 points this game. First of all it should have been a scoop and score TD by Gilmore. Second of all Harry DID score a TD. Instead we had to settle for a 3 point FG.

Then there was a blatant PI missed by the refs that would have made it 1st and goal. That's another probable 7 points.

If you add 10 points to our total that becomes 26 pats 23 chiefs.

Last of all, we should never have put ourselves in position to be at the mercy of the refs. Our offense was putrid all day and couldn't do anything until late in the game.

The OL was terrible. The 2-headed run game of Burkhead/Michel averaged 2ypc.

A lot of negatives to take out of this. We did enough good to win, but we also did enough bad to deserve to lose. Meh.

The Refs were really, really bad though. Really inexcusable. Was this a 'fixed' crew?

Team showed a lot of fight tonight. I feel good going forward. Of course the people who love misery will be reveling in this loss.
I just don’t feel good going forward with this OL....but nothing u can do about it now...

Refs aside... Our offense lacks firepower and unlike last season we aren't beating afc playoff teams. I won't give up, but there were multiple mistakes by NE through the season that led to this. Heck, maybe even in the draft.
Definitely in the draft....

True, however a loss is a loss, we always say no moral victories over here.
Those non calls/ calls were atrocious however I wish we didn't leave it till the 4th quarter to try and mount a comeback. We still have O issues and I am most mad at the management for this travesty .
I didn't imply a moral victory.

Mad at management?

Despite what the entitled believe the Patriots can't win the SB every year

I hope nobody blames the defense for this game. When you only give up 23 points to that offense, it's a darn good game. An NFL offense should be able to score at least 24 points against that sorry Chiefs defense. The Titans with Tannehill did it. The Colts did it with Brissett. Hell the damm Lions got them good. Once again the offense left the defense out to dry.

A.B. and Dez aren't walking through that door. Get White more involved. Activate Harris. Rest Sanu & Edelman against Cincinnati and Miami. You don't need an offense to beat those teams anyways. Find out where Dwayne Allen is and bring him in. Where's Lagarrett Blount? Give up a 1st rounder plus more for Nick Foles next year.

Their defense was awful today.
Chiefs averaged 29ppg.

We allowed 23.

The NEP D allows 7 less than what teams average.

The D did its job.

To say the D was awful is out of line

I agree. I was talking about the 49ers.

I don't get how anyone who watched the game can say the defense played bad.

They had two mistakes in the game (3rd & 19 and the TD on 2nd & 25) on the same drive. The rest was mostly good execution by the Chiefs and their offense. They held KC to two TDs where one of them was set up by an INT in your own territory.

The D had one of their best games of the year. Too bad the flu ruined the Texans game.

Management has to take advantage of the 1-2 years Brady has left. Lots of mistakes made, including no TE and WR and OL issues.
