Agreed. No question Slater was unable to get by the gunners. Only problem I see is Slater should have tried to get back and show how he was blocked from doing so.I miss when games were torrented because there were like 2 complete phantome holding calls on the pats, in the middle of good drives that stalled us. I can't prove it because I can't show it. Plus the call on Slater needs to be addressed because If players can box another player out of bounds that's a problem.
Not disagreeing with your post, but what, exactly, are your credentials?from construction-guy fake experts.
Thoughts:
a.) From the coulda, woulda, shoulda dept:
1.) Harris' fumble in week 1.
2.) Jonnu Smith's deflected pass for an INT.
3.) Folk's figgie miss.
Flip those three plays...and this team is likely 3-1...maybe even 4-0....or at worst 2-2.
b.) We have lost 3 home games! We only have 6 remaining.
c.) On the bright side, we have lost two out of conference games and still only have 1 AFC loss which we can avenge in January in warm Southern Florida even with Tua back under center.
d.) Jones is already getting better and better.....
Week 1: 281 passing yards 1-0 TD/INT
Week 2: Only 186 yards, but Zach Wilson was stinking up the joint...no need to do anything more.
Week 3: 270 yards 1-3 TD/INT ratio...but cannot blame the latter 2 INT's (one being Jonnu's fault and the other being down two scores late).
Week 4: 275 yards 2-1 TD/INT ratio...like in week 3...tossed his 2nd INT under pressure by an in-your-face blitzer.
Cam Newton only threw for +269 yards THREE times last year...one @ Seattle, 1 versus the Jets, and another @ Houston. And Cam only had 1 game with more than 1 TD pass....(the season finale vs. the Jets).
e.) Unfortunately, the schedule still has some tough tough match ups left....
Dallas
@ L.A. Chargers
@ Carolina
Cleveland
Titans
@ Buffalo
Buffalo
Must win @Houston, NYJ, @Atlanta, @Indy, Jacksonville, and @Miami and go 4-3 in the above 7 games .
I think a 10-3 finish will do it....11-6......
Even worse, when he was initially blocked out of bounds, the guy was still blocking him out of bounds...Agreed. No question Slater was unable to get by the gunners. Only problem I see is Slater should have tried to get back and show how he was blocked from doing so.

Every week it looks increasingly that we are very fortunate to have this kid.
Which has nothing to do with the price of whipped cream in China.I personally am homeless and hungry in search of food, but if you kept abreast of my positions:
- Mac Jones is the real deal (Oct'20)
- Pats missing a bonafide NT, GodChaux is not it (June'21)
- OLine is a mess. Play Trent at LT, Onwenu at RT, Karras at LG, stop playing Herron/Durrant
- Bentley is NOT the answer at ILB (July'21)
- Extend Gilmore, Pats need an elite CB1 ('July '21)
Tom Brady is going to finish the season still never having been the starting QB in a game where his team has already been eliminated before game time. Meanwhile, Belichick is goign to coach his 4th non-playoff season in 4 non-Brady seasons as the Patriots head coach.
Which h

I’m not sure what I said, but you’re welcome! I think…Thanks for your wise, sane words, Ross. Two qualities that have been in short supply on this board lately.
you have to be much happier this morning as a Pats fan than a Bucs fan…
Haha, I just read the Gronkaneers thread and they are making excuses as to why the game was so close...everything from refereeing to wet conditions.
Deus from the Gronkaneers thread:
As of now four people liked this nonsenses comical ya I wouldn’t be happy of a team coming off a championship with a GOAT qb, a injured secondary and 3-1.
There’s been some great football talk here for the last week. A lot of posters, including the “Tompa” posters brought a lot of insight aboit the game/gameplan. This is the first time I’ve watched a football game knowing both teams really well, so it was a great experience to see how the teams punched and counter punched.
None of the people you’ve claimed are “Bucs fans” have done anything except analyze the game and add insight. There’s been no TOLD YA SO! or anything like that. There’s been a high level of knowledge from many people…Patriots fans, homers, Brady stans…whatever. The discussions have been awesome.
As for you, though, it’s the same as always. Zero interest in understanding the game beyond a skin deep level. Lots of interest in trolling, tattling, stirring the pot…an insecure, petty man with absolutely zero insight.
