We can no longer say Bill does what's best for the team to win since he vanished Bourne on the behalf of his unqualified buddy and he's clearly one of the best offensive weapons.

We figured out that Bill is just letting Patricia run the offense, and Bourne was clearly in Matt's doghouse. Obviously not using Bourne for most of the year was a giant mistake.

That's funny .. media firestorm from a QB that is a consistent slow starter and unclutch? Isn't that opposite of the bb we've known who released milloy? Benched Seymour, benched welker for a playoff game, benched Malcolm Butler for the sb. He's not going to bench Jones because if the media firestorm on a a QB that looks to be a career backup.
1st round pick QBs are in a different class.

BB can bench Cole Strange till the cows come home with hardly anyone noticing. Not so with Jones. Look what happened when Zappe began to move the offense when Jones got hurt. It made Jones look bad and raised the question whether Zappe deserves to be the starter. BB can ill afford to play Zappe and derail the pro career of Jones.

Ted Johnson killing BB on postgame ... once again. He's saying BB needs to change his attitude and is not a good motivator. Says the players are "worn down" by him. Then Matt Cassel challenges him.

Ted needs to rein in the agenda.
Maybe Ted is right in some of that but today isn’t a game for that to be the specific reaction. The team certainly wasn’t lacking motivation in the second half.

Ted has an agenda. Not sure why he was chosen as a local commentator. Says a lot about what local executives thinks the NE fans want to hear.

Sure he can. He just chooses not to.

Mac Jones must have broken into Eli Mannings house, removed his horseshoe from his arse and stuck it up his own with some of those throws and catches into triple coverage

After an atrocious first half the honour was saved but , again, at the end a crucial mistake
We could have been easily 9-6 instead we are pratically out
But let s admit...good teams win this game and simply we are not good enough
We are average...
7-8 record shows it...
Buon Natale
Here is allready near midnight

I think Ted is a pretty solid commentator overall but yes, obviously the bitterness toward Belichick seeps through at times.

Probably unpopular opinion but I really believe this roster is close.

Bring in BOB next season, upgrade some obvious needs (punter, o-line), and try to bring in an elite WR.

I’m torn on Mac. I personally think he is mediocre but maybe a good OC, line, WR, and some discipline can turn him around.

Josh Allen didn’t break out until his third year. Burrow year 2. Brady didn’t have his elite breakout until 2007.

My biggest concern with Mac is how badly he misses which isn’t an easy fix. His throw to Thornton was solid but then he underthrew any other deep ball. He’s also off the mark on even short throws far too often.

Yea I talked myself into it, Mac is probably not going to breakout into an elite qb. I think his cap is a Tannehill level. Which is clearly serviceable. But he’s definitely not going to be a Brady.

Hospital Ball to Meyers few weeks back now hospital ball to Jonnu. Mac's a real Team player.

I would not call Ted "strategic" in his analysis. All of his comments eventually lead back to "BB sucks". That is the way it is in NE.

At the end of the day the offense is only as good as Mac is. If he plays good football we can compete with anyone. I assume we’ll get a real OC and he’ll get another shot.

Another long long offseason and i hate to watch the Coach Bill drafting picks. Smarter than the rest no more. To many bad picks.

I sure hope not and know I'm not the only one.

The Rainbow into double coverage.

Look how he lobs the ball up like a butterball turkey

This proves everything that we've said this season.
1. MP is a terrified playcaller who waits until the season is literally on the line and we're down 22 pts to start doing what Mac likes and use the 2min spread offense (and to dig Bourne out of the doghouse).
2. Mac can't see the field, and takes too many stupid sacks (mostly because they threatened him with his job if he takes a risk and throws a INT)
3. This team is suddenly the most un-clutch we've seen since 1992 (before Bledsoe). They have turned into the Lions and Browns, that will find a way to screw up any chance to win a close game.
4. Every other team has rookies and nobody-WR's killing it. But we can't get our fastest WR in the NFL to find a way to get open.
5. The team has played the first half in a complete useless fog for 13 out of 15 games. That's on coaching.
6. BB has finally lost his edge. He's not able to scheme or motivate players to exceed the sum of their parts anymore. And his personnel decisions have been to the detriment of the team, not an advantage.
