Jake Moody is special. They could have traded up for him

Five-year kicker with four seasons at Eastern Michigan and one at Maryland. Ryland has the leg to make 50-plus-yard field goals and handle kickoffs, but it is nothing special by NFL standards. He will need to improve his overall accuracy and placement to make an NFL team.

On the Jimmy Johnson draft chart, the Pats gave 70.2 points and the Jets got 70.2 points.

Most people look at the Rich Hill draft chart where the Jets made out SLIGHTLY better but... only by like 2 points, it's really not a big deal.

At least get the best punter if you are drafting a punter in 4th round .

My guess is bill will draft a QB and then draft a wr in 6th round and ignore the TE in a historically strong TE class.

Offensive scouts on pats team should be fired ..

This is the worst pick for me. He doesn't even seem that good by the reports. If you are going to take a kicker this high you may as well trade up into the 3rd and actually get Moody.

What reports are YOU looking at? Dane Brugler has him as the #2 K behind Moody.

Stephen Gostowski was a 4th round pick. How'd that work out?
