OK the Pats have allowed 10 points, 7 of which were caused by a penalty. Now let's see if the Pats defense can duplicate the trend and actually improve on that very low point total in the 2nd half.
Just a reminder, only 10 points given up at half time with only 1 bad drive by the defense (the first drive of the game.) Buffalo's only TD drive was a result of a terrible PI call.
That ball did some weird things. Rumor has it that the Pats employ someone referred to as "Ghost" who more probable than not manipulated that ball. Goodell rules that there is irrefutable evidence that the Patriots used the supernatural to make that kick on Halloween weekend. $1 million fine and a first round pick. #GhostGate
BTW- Stephan Gilmore is one of those can't miss #1 draft picks who has developed into a very good #1.
Chris Hogan was a #1 draft pick..... but for Major League Lacrosse. And he just blew right by Gilmore for that TD. If he'd been some big time draft pick coming out, maybe it would quiet all the WR mafia who continually and annoyingly plead for a WR in the first round.
Good point. Let's face it.. amazing game by Brady today so far. Bills have actually hit him hard, got to him some, but he moves around back there. This guy is unbelievable. His movement in the pocket today is not just only great today, but he is danger back there and getting it done huge.. huge..
O line is playing well. Brady threw a couple of deep dimes. D is getting pressure. Ghost is kicking "off the glass" type field goals.
That was a great first half. Little to complain about.
Bills are playing tough though with one exception. It seems like the CB's gave up on the two deep TD throws after the catch. I would have expected them to dive and attempt to trip them up on the way to the end zone.
