I think Collinsworth's comments are off about our offense. Those 2 turnovers by Edelman and Brady derailed drives that had both looked promising. It's a very different ball game if a few things go a different way. I'm actually encouraged by our offense this game, relative to a lot of the past games. How many 3 and outs? I think like 2 which is a better than I feel like we've seen in games other than week 1.
The hurry up looked good and Sanu looked fantastic. For once they didn't feel the need to do token runs because "you gotta do em." Brady made some bonehead plays but not out of line with past games where he's trying to will the team back into it. Problem was the first quarter, everything was a lot more even after that. But you just can't spot a good team 17 points and expect to win.
Knew not challenging the 4th down conversion would be the turning point. Lot's of uncharacteristic things tonight including inept coaching decisions.
A gimmick QB like this is not going to beat the Patriots again though, he's had his win and now they have everything the need on him. Like others have said, this is like the wildcat game.
Don't have to hear about Belichick owning sophomore QBs anymore either. In a way I'm glad Pats lost. Wake up call. Rather now than later. Still #1 seed. Other AFC teams gave losses coming anyway.
2 false starts called as NZI
4th down pick not called OPI and stupidly not challenged
BS intentional grounding
Pats called for holding with no offsetting facemask on Dorsett
Multiple cases of holding/DPI by Ravens DBs ignored
Multiple holding/illegal blocks to spring Ravens runs all night
Cheffers & his crew have done a job on the Pats.
The Ravens needed all that help to beat a Patriots team that are playing well below the standard they are capable of.
The intentional grounding probably pissed me off the most. That flag is never thrown, and the only reason there wasn't a receiver in the area is because he was clearly interfered with in the first place. The ref was just pissed that that Brady had some words for him and decided to throw a retaliatory flag because he's an egocentric ***** who can't handle his job.
Pats had the knife to Baltimore’s throat in the third quarter. Through a combination of crap luck and bad officiating, they lost the game. Next time these two teams play it will be different. That’s why this loss is less painful to me than most.

Yeah not gonna sit here and try to cast a loss as a good thing, but I do think there are some positives. I gotta believe the defense will not give up 30 again.
