Game Day Thread Official Game Day Thread - Week 3 Texans @ Pats

THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.

Holy ****, there's a speed guy

Cooks is fast as ****, man we need to get him the ball more

What a throw. What a great route. What speeed. Cooks throwing the monkey of his back!!!

Give it time and slight OL improvement, the Cooks/Brady connection will come to fruition.

Fast dude

This is why you don't risk that turnover before halftime, guys.

Michael Felger is going to disappointed that he cannot over analyze Tony Romo's comment comparing Cooks to Joey Galloway for a second week.

Release the Kraken!

Because you are trying to frame his issues around his cancer diagnosis when he had a perfectly good year in 2014 and 2016. His testicular cancer had nothing to do with anything. He wasn't elite before and he isn't now. But overall he is a reliable tackle.

Everyone screws up plays sometimes it is just more obvious when a tackle does it against an elite pass rusher. Take a look at the Bengals or the Texans if you wanna know what really bad OL play looks like.

Fair enough, I now understand now how one could dislike the post I made. I'm not overly familiar with the timeline of his cancer and seeing that it was prior to the 2014 season, and not more recent, surprised me. I shouldn't have made such a strong claim, as it seems the evidence contradicts my claim(s).

Still, I doubt that a partial, if not full castration is a good thing for anyone, no less an NFL player to go through (especially an offensive lineman). I'm not a biology geek but I'd imagine such a procedure would, at least to some extent, lower testosterone which we all know has a wide-array of effects on mood, confidence, ability to physically exert and recover, etc. That said, it's perfectly plausible that it would have little or no impact on his (or any player's) ability to perform at a high level in the NFL. Just my initial intuition, but I could be wrong (it happens often, heh). It would seem that the evidence and statistics show that it hasn't had a significant impact.

Apologies for my misinformed post.

How'd you like them apples Houston?

Suck it!!!!

That was sick footwork by Cooks

I think Brady was expecting Cooks to be coming back for that.

Sure. It takes time. Both these guys are too smart, dedicated and talented not to develop that chemistry

THAT was everything I was expecting when they traded for Cooks!!!

Brady hits him perfectly in stride and then nobody can catch him!
