Game Day Thread Official Game Day Thread- Week 3 Pats @ Lions

THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.

I can't tell you how many games I've watched over the recent years now where the opposing team has a really long opening drive that ultimately only ends up with a field goal, and the Patriots go on to win handily.

Let's all breathe.
Hard to breathe when the offense can’t move a yard

Pats look Great! I was so wrong in my criticism of them. ...

Yeah great call not activating Gordon

Once we get Gordon and Edelman we should be good to go. Gordon first against Miami should help big time then that same Thursday Edelman will be back, one more game to tuff out.

The offense is going to continue to struggle without Edelman. It runs through him, not Gronk. Blame him for not being more careful.

The entire team looks mentally soft. Second week in a row they've taken the first punch and appear to be playing off their back foot. They're allowing the game to be dictated to them, not the other way around.

Ability to perform on the road is a good marker for how mentally tough a team is.

Brady not good at all so far. Late and behind to Hogan (with white open) ... Then horrible high throw to Dorsett.. yucks....

Very unimpressed with Michel in his small sample

That first run looked good. The swing pass was sniffed out from the beginning, never had a chance.

I'm unimpressed with Brady right now, he's been off on all but one of his passes tonight and that one was behind the line of scrimmage.

Another bad start. I mean, how bad is this D?
