Van Noy blew that coverage

He was the guy trying to recover, but I really doubt that the play called for him to be covering Stills down the deep middle of the field. If so, that's just bad play design. More likely someone in the secondary blew their assignment.

Too many 3rd down conversions

Two big misses on that series. One was the missed tackle by Butler. He turned a 3rd and 15 into mamageable 3rd and 7 the other was who ever blew that coverage on the TD. That is the 2nd time I saw a wide open guy when dropping 8. Believe me there is no coverage that has Van Noy, one on one with Stills.

this was the same thing which happened in the seattle game.

That was a busted coverage, Van Noy should have had safety help up top.

Anyways I expect a better defensive series next.

could you imagine how freaking horrible our defense would be if everyone in underneath zones carried every deep route....? any QB could throw for a TD on every single drive.
