What was worse on that 4th down play.....the play call, or Sanu not bothering to block?

If Sanu makes the block it’s a good decision.

It was a good decision either way. People are only second guessing it because we didn't get the first down. It's decision vs execution, and it was the execution that was bad, not the decision to try to go for it.

I have defended Sanu quite a bit, but he's starting to piss me off now.

Expecting Sanu to do anything worthwhile is arguably an error in its own right

He literally could have just stepped in front of the defender, and that would have been enough.

What makes this so frustrating is that it’s basically the same narrative for the past several weeks: hot starts, take control of the game, and then give it away with crucial mistakes.

You’re tied in a game you should be up 7 in. Can’t have that against good teams.

I don’t recall a player wrecking an entire first half like Sanu did there. Can’t extend his arms and then doesn’t block on 4th and inches. Reprehensibly poor fundamentals. Completely changed the momentum of this game and now the Bills are walking tall. Unreal.

He did the same thing in Houston, trying to keep an open mind but my patience is wearing very thin on the guy

It was a good gamble. Our defense has been holding them all half.

Also it was a good playcall for that defense. Sanu just brain farted massively.

They were only looking at a FG there, a TD was unlikely given the situation.

Not worth the risk.
