The second team LBs have had a good game today. So has Jabal Sheard. I like how this LB group is coming together. Nice to see Hightower back in there. I think they'll be fine going forward. The Collins release is still too bad, but BB and MP saw the depth in that group.

We can talk about how crappy the Rams are, but this is an utterly dominating defensive performance. With 6 minutes left, the Pats have allowed: 3 points, 5 first downs, and 97 total yards. I mean, Alabama played Western Kentucky earlier this year, and crushed them (as you would imagine). But they allowed 10 points, 12 first downs, and 239 total yards.

Allowing less than 100 total yards is just unfathomable in today's NFL, and I don't care if it's the Rams and Goff.

It sounds like you're preparing for the defense to have a bad day and when they do, you'll throw that line out that you just did about the 2014 defense playing bad against them too.

No, I'm not. I don't expect Baltimore to put up anywhere near that many points, but I'm pointing out that a poor outing against a team that always plays us tough isn't the end of the world and it certainly doesn't mean the team isn't a SB contender.
