Here's the problem. I like that no PI was called on the Rams on the Bennett play. But it certainly could have been since he had his hands on him well past the 5 yards. That kind of inconsistency needs to be cleared up

And the call will be made against the Pats at some point or at some game. The inconsistency makes it so hard for the players to play.

Half time thoughts

1. Despite having only 1 first down, I like what I saw from Goff. If I were a Rams fan I'd be hopeful for the future, but unfortunately the future isn't now.

2. Great run defense by the Pats

3. LGB has run great , so has Lewis. Passing attack has been choppy at best. Lots of screens that the Rams are covering well

4. OL has been solid

5. Nothing exceptional. Just a workman like effort

6. the rush has been pretty consistent. I bet we lead the league in getting to the QB and NOT getting him down.

7. I hope we keep it up in the 2nd half and not go back into a protective shell

some here want the patriots to just be perfect on every play and gain 4-5 yards every play. i mean its a good expectation but how realistic is it ? jeez

It's gonna be up and down. Next week will be very tough against a better opponent. Rams are just awful. We won't know much from this game.

D only gave up one first down during the first half. Even considering the opposition, that's a HUGE positive.

They are playing against Rams who are without Oline and with rookie QB.
Nothing impressive. Patricia blitzing with more guys than usually and RAms WR drop some catcahable passses.
