When I played little kid football years ago it was the last game of the year and we were playing a team that had not scored the whole season. I was the best defensive player a lineman, and the reffs called 6 penalties against me In a row to try and get them to score. The ref even told me. Even with this they didn’t score.
After this game I guarantee Gase gets fired at the end of this season.
He spends an offseason as an OC. McDermott is sent packing at the end of 2021.
Gase goes to Buffalo and brings in Darnold as a backup to whoever they've drafted to replace Josh Allen. That draft pick QB ends up being a bust and they start Darnold.
