The play call and the protections don’t factor into Izzo being outmatched. He’s expected to hold up. If he can’t, he shouldn’t be out there, they shouldn’t be calling multiple verticals, or both.
Again Brady should be aware of the questionable blocking skills of the guy he has blocking for him on the edge and have a timer going off in his head. After that many seasons you'd expect him to show more awareness to details like that.
