Marquis Flowers not Trey

Ahh! THAT, I could see.

In fact, maybe 3 years/$13M, structured with salaries of $1M, $3M, $5M an a $4M signing bonus ($1.33M/yr), so that his 2018 cap hit is $2.33M. That would probably be the absolute maximum, though.

Personally, I think he can be more than just a special-teamer, but M. Flowers' reasonable floor might be a 3-year version of the 2-year deal that Bademosi had signed with the Lions in 2016: 2 years, $4.5M, including $2M guaranteed.

I think he could be more as well

So are the Patriots actually going to do anything besides stand by and let all the other teams get better?

No.

The Pats are going to stand by and watch while all the other teams spend a metric crap-tonne of cap space trying to get better, then swoop in and scoop up the much cheaper, underrated guys who actually will make them better.

SOP.

My main targets aside from my pipe dream Robinson our still on the market.

Yeah, this happens every year. The Albert Wilsons of the world get $8m per year while everyone complains that the Patriots haven't added any candy-coated turds yet.

If you want to do shopping you are obliged to have money . Doing shopping for credit or broaden your debt is not trendy.

This is the Patriots in FA

And once the first wave is over and people got overpaid.. lets go to work.

First year following the Patriots of New England, it seems....welcome to Patriots Nation.

Here are some tips to get you started...they never overpay, they rarely make a splash early in free agency and when they do it gets done very quietly until the deal is official.

AppArently Brees is staying at home. It is better than watching him playing for Jets .

Star something the DT is signing with Buffalo.

Makes sense. Need a DT to replace dareus and he played under McDermott in Carolina
