Tyrell Williams is interesting. Good size-speed combination, only 26, and has produced as a WR1 when called upon in that role. Frankly I'd take him over any of the WRs in this draft.
And nickname: Tyrell the Gazelle

So, honest question: if someone offers Solder 13 AAV, do you match, or do you grab up both Flemming and Waddle for around 10?

I think that they will eventually extend him at around 13.5m APY.. no clue how much of that is real and how much is fake money though..

If Fleming + Waddle = 10M, one or both walks.

Unlikely to get Fleming and Waddle for $10M combined anymore. Floor is probably higher that $5M APY for both, now. Higher for Fleming than Waddle, probably.

I'd take Solder for $13M.

Solder's last contract as 2 years/$10M APY, with $19.5M guaranteed.

I don’t see Nate Solder as a “money guy” like Revis. I’m sure he’ll stay if the pats offer him a fair contract.
I hope they don't wait until 3:59 P. M. Wednesday to lock him up. He is their only must
re-sign player.

Giardi is currently having a Twitter Spat with a guy who thinks that Brat's new $6.8M APY contract shouldn't bother Gronk because Gronk's APY is much higher. Apparently the guy doesn't get that Brate's $18M guaranteed is much higher than Gronk's $4M guaranteed.

Math is hard.

I'd kick the tires on Hali. I'd rather have over the hill vets like Hali/Harrison at OLB that actually know how to play the position than the garbage the Pats have lately been playing there.

I'd guess that the Pats already have an offer on the table, and that Solder and his agent are comparing it to the offers that are coming in now. I'd guess that Solder gives the Pats a chance to adjust their offer after seeing the others, and then makes up his mind. Might even take until next Monday.

Gronk already got his guaranteed money. If he's unhappy then he should take it up with his agent, and not complain to the team that continues to pay him, and even added a bunch of incentives to his contract to boost his pay if he stays healthy.

Hali's done. He's been done for a couple of years.

Again, what does it mean to "kick the tires" on Hali? Like, sign him to a contract and see if it works out? Bring him in for a tryout?

3 years/40M is my guess......

But will Houston or Cleveland (if Thomas retires) offer more? They both can.....

I actually think it will drag on for a bit and could go on longer if Thomas retires and the Browns jump into the bidding. I don't think Solder wants $$$$>Situation, but I think the Pats have told Solder that they want the right of first refusal at least.... so it will be situation where Solder listens to 2-3 teams...makes a visit or two...then calls BB/Nick to discuss.

It's really all about the guaranteed money.

A 3/$40M deal with $20M guaranteed looks good on paper, but $2/$26M with $24M guaranteed is where the meat is.
