Game Day Thread OFFICIAL 2025 Wildcard Weekend Game Thread: LAC @ NE

THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.

McDaniels should call more Maye running plays in the 2nd half.
I think they are working because LA is so focused on taking away Diggs and anything intermediate to deep

I'm baffled at how the chargers can sit 20 yards down field and the Patriots players can't even get open for a quick 5 to 10 yard catch to also that alot easier on their second attempt.
You don't take the risks in the middle of the field with no timeouts you shoot for the EZ or OB

I didn't really think of it til now, but let's just pretend the Chargers win this one for now. Here's your remaining playoff field:

- Seattle (West Coast)
- Los Angeles Rams (West Coast)
- Los Angeles Chargers (West Coast)
- San Francisco 49ers (West Coast)
- Denver Broncos (Mid-West)
- Chicago Bears (Mid-West)
- Buffalo Bills (East Coast)
- Pittsburgh/Houston (Southern/East Coast)

That's some overly heavy representation of the west coast, specifically southern California.
remind me, where's the super bowl this year?

OL needs to step it up. Maye needs to be a little tighter. He missed a few throws. Even if only a bit. WRs need to catch it when it is there... and they need to get open.

I really didn’t think the Chargers D was that good. Pats have done very little. Gonna have get deep in that bag Josh and scheme a few big plays up.

Says who? You? Lol

Yes and Drake doesn’t like the short stuff

Weird game. I don't think either team is gonna scare any of the other playoff teams based on this game.
Both teams are playing great defense. That's what scares teams.

Take what the defense gives you.

Thinking that means 150 yards rushing by Maye.

Apparently davis is questionable to return:

apparently no nfl team wants to win comfortably so far this postseason, i was hoping we would be the first
Really odd postseason so far . No one dominating
