No coach can do much better with that dumpster franchise

Glenn is a defensive coach and their defense has been awful all year. That is inexcusable. Salah had basically the same defense as a top 5 defense.

Plus you could make the same argument for Mayo last year.

For real though I'm curious what the rules are on designating guys as injured. Like, can Vrabel just rule Maye and Dobbs as "out with injury" with 10 minutes left in the 4th quarter in a blowout so he can get DeVito some snaps? Who's to say if they're really that hurt, or hurt at all? Does it even really matter? The guy is only restricting his own team's performance.

Do we really want another Something gate?

Basically the onus is on the medical staff. If the medical staff haven't seen the player, they can't be unavailable for the purposes of the rule.
