I'm surprised Mapu isn't getting more playing time for his coverage alone. Without Spillane, our zone coverage over the middle is very poor. Our linebackers are the weakest link on our defense. We need playmakers.
I really thought with a home playoff game they would win round 1.
Now with this defense out of gas and players I think they get bounced.

Why play so far off it you are blitzing? I know you are worried about your blitz not getting there and giving up 7. But giving too much of a cushion on a blitz cause you are down a defender... it kind of destroys the purpose of blitzing.
Big play.. should have gone down in bounds btw. Mental mistake.
But i can understand why he didn't.... that would be a very heady play to realize the series is pretty much done and you may as well milk the clock. You don't expect a guy to do that. But it be nice.
It has nothing to do with a favorite script and everything to do with a balanced attack. During the 10 game-winning streak he would get a couple targets, with a couple of outliers. Eight targets for him last week for him was too much
