If he can play there’s a role. A Stevenson/Gibson/Henderson/Smith RB room would be heavy on receiving over power running but that’s ok. Henderson isn’t just a receiving back and honestly even Gibson can do more too.

Its redundant though. Would make more sense to draft Martinez with hope he outplays Stevenson so we can send the fumbler packing

Based on he was handed the starting spot as a transfer and lost his job to a couple of 3 stars behind him.

I watched every one of his games this year. If the line gives him 7 yards, he'll get 7 yards. If the line gives him 30 yards, he'll get 7 yards.

Hoping we can can find a potential slot CB with a 6th rounder, with Jonathan Jones gone we’re dependent on Marcus Jones who’s gotten injured all 3 seasons so far. Cobee Bryant is still out there, maybe he’s the guy?

And with the 7th rounder, I’m completely fascinated by the idea of taking Willie Lampkin and converting him to FB. He looks like he can be a bowling ball out there, and to an extent I think of Edelman when I see him and think this guy is just a football player and will make it somewhere despite being so undersized.

I'm thinking that they got the extra 7th to use on a K. The 7th round is now just a chance to pick up a guy who have rated as an UDFA and not have to worry that someone else will sign him. Or for that QB camp arm.

Don't forget you need a LEAST 4 QB's for TC to spread the load and the Pats currently only have 2 on the roster
