6 "cuts" left, but two of those could likely be moving players to Injured Reserve, and one may be to keep Takitaki on PUP. So only 3 true cuts are actually necessary. That said, I think more cuts than that will take place as I am sure Wolf is making some waiver claims.

Wilcox can be an extra OL blocker but limited in space.
Bell can stretch the field but limited blocker. Bell had the 4.61 dash at the combine, 10’ 4” jump, the TE explosiveness AVP has liked in his system. Wilcox was 4.88, 9’ 4”.

Yeah, I didn't get the sense that they completely trusted him by the end, either. I wouldn't be surprised if they try to keep Ryland on the PS and see if he can improve his game.

We often cut 6th and 7th rounders, and sometimes 5th rounders.

On a separate note, I noticed the team doesn't show Wheatley Jr. on IR anymore. I looked, but I can't find any news about an injury settlement, so I'm not sure if it's an omission or if something changed...?

As many times we settled for FGs last season Ryland should have been an all pro selection. Another 4th round pick gone.

He (Tyrone Wheatley Jr) was waived/injured August 4. So he's no longer a Patriot.
