Patriots defense is too good for them to get a top 3 pick.
Zappe really showed poise tonight, kudos to him.
Happy for Ryland.

It's a good draft, but I doubt Pats get their franchise QB. They may not even be in a position to get Joe Alt.

I am stunned by how awful the broncos were tonight on both sides of the ball. They could not get any pressure on Zappe, which I believe is why they lost the game.

Entertaining game.

I was all for losing but im always willing to accept whatever is destined for this team. Be it pick 2 or pick 5… we wont know for years if it will have mattered, or possibly even work in our favor. Either way we have a shot at a damn good player!

I wont be upset if bb is back. Ill be alarmingly raged if achord is though.

Lmao @feisty1985 or whatever

To add a little meat: I’ve watched two playoffs losses in Denver in person, in the cold, for outrageous amounts of money. Every win feels good there.

Barmore is a beast. Zappe is something.
Less check downs BOB.

And when the Patriots try and sell you a season of zappe and they're sitting at 4 and 13 and doing this all over again, just remember. It's ok cause you feel vindicated over a useless win because they choked away real wins with real stakes in Denver years ago that have nothing to do with tonight.

I would of been banned tonight if a certain ex mod was still around so at least we can speak freely about our thoughts.

I stand behind my plan I posted in the main game day thread:

Zappe as the starter in 2024 + draft Joe Alt + sign Mike Evans + keep Onwenu, Henry, Bourne, see what happens

Pats did the “Lucy” yank away to them. Gotta love it

With the 4-6th pick I could see us trading back and being a wildcard team for the next 3-5 years. Would love to hear about these statistics..

Pats could be picking at #5. Joe Alt will go in top 4

There's a real chance this team can play them self all the way down to pick 9.

That's cool.

Man I didn’t even think about the fact that this was in Denver which is notoriously hard for NE to win in. Wow. Zappe really got a 1 minute 4th Q comeback drive in Denver with a patchwork left side of his OL, no Henry and Parker/Pop/Thornton as his WRs. Big props to this kid.
ive been saying stick with this kid he just needs some more playing time and with a healthy team he will win for us.

Pats can likely win one more game and still stay in top 5 or 6 picks.

I share your sentiments.

The bottom line is the future of the team really looks different now.

You had to get a franchise QB. Now...what?
