I agree he's a vet and wants to win.. we were once that destination for many seasons..

However I'd say the QB position isn't so much and issue for us.. the coaching issue is what was unsettled until now..

By "unsettled" I mean that no one knows whether Mac is going to be the long-term solution in NE. Why should D-Hop sign with a team that doesn't know who its future QB is going to be? It doesn't help that Belichick has been rumored to be shopping Mac and has given a less than ringing endorsements of him.
