Ok. I believe Evans was the pick, had he been there. And they traded up two picks ahead of us in the second to take Landry, who I also believe was a realistic option.

If we wanted Evans we would have had Evans. The reality is that the Patriots tried to trade up for Ragnow before the Lions took him. You don't do that if you really want a LB.

Landry is simply not a scheme fit here and never really in play unless available late, late in the draft where he would turn into value. Said that already before the draft..

But whatever you want to believe man..

He was a starter for the Giants the past three seasons. The fact that he started for the Giants isn't any recommendation in itself, but he does have a crap-tonne more experience now - more NFL snaps at LB than M. Flowers, Roberts and Van Noy combined.

there is not much competition in the AFC. I would think Houston, Jax and Pitt are the toughest opponents, but NE should be able to handle them.

Seems like Patriots LB Ja'Whaun Bentley could be a Day 1 contributor in the run game. Probably shouldn't expect much out of him in the pass game in coverage or as a rusher.

I want to get rid of Roberts more than I want to see Jordan Richards gone. Clueless in coverage and inconsistent boom/bust run defender who can be faked out by simple motions.
