I know. I'm just tying to use common sense. As someone pointed out, why would Barnidge sign with the Pats for short money to be their 3rd TE? And why would the Pats give up draft capital to pick up a 3rd TE/top ST player today if they planned to make run at Barnidge. It's not going to happen. Your best bet is an UDFA binky or two. That's was this thread is all about, after all.

He's a solid run stuffer, but that's it. Plus, I believe there was some habit he and a few teammates had of sticking their finger somewhere on a tackled opponent that was.... Quite peculiar and probably off-putting to teams.

Smith was one I liked when we were looking for a big back. Ogunbowale was one of the few RBs with a sub 7.oo 3-cone nd had a 39 wonderlic. Dayes is good too.

Cowboys took Noah Brown with the pick we used to trade up. There goes one of the intriguing big-bodied guys. He's a good fit there. Dez Bryant-lite. Not as talented or productive, obviously, but similar type of player.
