Offer Big $$$ to Howie Roseman

At this point we do not know who the screw-up is in the Patriots organization that resulted in such a pathetic off season. Was it Wolf or Kraft? Why fire Wolf when it was Kraft that screwed up?

And we do not know if the decision to eschew trading down and taking Maye at 3 was a Wolf decision or a Kraft decision, and we not do we know what the outcome of this momentous move will be. I suspect it was Kraft. If it was Wolf and Maye flops, then, sure fire him.

As far as Roseman and "Not afraid to take risks", the Patriots have already taken a huge risk in Maye so no thanks.
Seriously?

We got a QB in the draft...

We signed/extended the players that we needed to keep...

We still have plenty of cap space...

How is this indicative of a "screwed up" situation?

Because every single hole, gap and leak wasn't plugged in a mere 4 months?

I don't get it... yeesh... Give these guys a freaking chance before blowing them up...

This team needs someone who is bold and not afraid to take informed risk.
I thought when BB, this BS safe roster building approach would be gone as well.
Wolfe is really not too different from BB.
*Javon Baker, Joe Milton, Drake Maye and Ja'Lynn Polk have entered the chat*

They took 1 defensive player. I don't get why anyone would think this was a Bill draft. Did they watch him on MacAfee? Bill basically fellated JJM when the Vikes took him. It seemed crystal clear that's where he would have gone if he were in charge.

The guy knows to to build a roster and maintain a high level. Not afraid to take risks. Has done a great job signing FA's.
Wolfe is not the right guy for this job.

If Kraft would throw a bag of $$$ at Rosmean...maybe he would die.

Agreed. The draft went as expected.. majority on offense. I have no problem with the draft. I really think maye is going to be the guy we need...

You mean like Bill Belichck innovative and and imaginative? Trade your pick at 21 for 29 and then take a guard that could be had in the third round, when the big need that year was on the defense? You mean That kind of innovative

I would have gone in a different direction with Wallace, like many here. Go up for Suamataia, get the kid from Yale, or another unturned stone we don't know. But I like Maye, I like Polk and a freakin' love Baker. Overall it was a good weekend.

Understandable. I'm just happy we took some lineman and absolutely loved the maye pick, the guys got ultra confident and has a charm about him fans will love. Yes baker.. yeah this guy can flat out play. I can't wait for camp to get here.. becuase we know the defense isn't going yo have any mercy on the rookies.

Yep. It seems to me like those crying the hardest right now are the same people who shriek and cried about Belichick’s moves for the past 10-20 years. It doesn’t matter who is running the team, if they don’t pick or take binkies they want them to then they are doing a horrible job.

I love what Wolf is doing. He was smart about who he signed in a really bad free agency class. Got rid of Jones, drafted a potential franchise quarterback, and addressed OL and WR in both free agency and the draft.

While his Breakdown of Maye was more critical I'm pretty sure he said that the 3 QBs that went top 5 went where they were supposed to go so I don't think you're neccessarily accurate with your assumption.

I gotta hand it to him.. he threw it to Dugger, barmore and ownenu...
Yup threw the bag at Onwenu and then drafted his replacement in R3 less than a month later. Still bewildering.

I'll stick with my opinion, I respect yours, my man.

Some fans think they would like Howie here, but he builds his teams from the front back. He spends his high draft picks on offensive and defensive linemen.

Fans here had a conniption fit when BB did the same and took Cole Strange at the end of the first round... most fans don't know what they want or what a team actually needs to be good.

They have built an amazing team culture there in Philly. They will challenge for a title for another 5 to 7 years. No way he leaves that even for more money. I'm sure Lurie would match any offer if it came to that.

Someone here once said that no one hates the Pats like a Pats fan.
This is proof of that.
