Offensive Linemen

I totally agree capt. I brought that up because I don't think any team signs him as a guard. The only way a team steals him is to try him at center but the ravens seem to like their new center.

Halapio lacks athleticism for a guard. However there are schemes with a big nasty center that just asks him to lock up with a NT or big lineman and hold the block. Also centers are thought of as athletic, however in the middle of the trenches lined up facing the center, quick DTs don't have the freedom to penetrate as when they are further outside lined up over the guard. Center is easier than guard for an OLineman lacking athleticism

I suspect that when we sign Hilapio to the Practice Squad, we will try teach him to be an NFL right guard. I find it unlikely that he would be a better center than the center prospect on the Practice Squad.
