It's easy, and only takes a few moments.nothing wrong with bias ... its what being a fan is all about... they are our "favorite" teams and "favorite" players for a reason... i think sometimes i think posters try too hard to be analytical in every analysis they make that they forget to be fans of "their" team...Happy 72nd birthday, Mr. Hannah. A truly great player, I believe he is arguably the best OL ever. I admit bias, but I saw his whole career. Exceptional!
Happy bday to Hog Hannah...
this is one of my all time favorite Pats / Hannah photos... Credit to the artist who took it, Tom Croke, for capturing such compelling photo...
George Adams - New England Patriots

i do not know when it was taken... its one of the few photos that doesn't give at least the year of the photos... and the back ground is blurry, so we can't try to pinpoint it with an opponent...Was that taken during the AFCCG?
Ah, the road-grading running game in those days. Boy, do I miss that. That 1976 line was really good.
Leon Gray, John Hannah, Bill Lenkaitis, Sam Adams, Bob McKay.
I miss thise days of complete OL domination and a running game that literally could not be stopped. That 1976 line was really good.

Hannah is superior to Haynes ... my argument is simple... He stayed here.I miss thise days of complete OL domination and a running game that literally could not be stopped.
In my view, other than Brady and Mike Haynes….Hog Hannah was third best patriots draft pick of all time
fair point and for that reason...I can agreeHannah is superior to Haynes ... my argument is simple... He stayed here.
Interesting fact was that Hannah "fell" to the Patriots in the 1973 NFL draft. He and Jerry Sisemore from Texas were the two top rated linemen and no one was sure who would go first. As it happened, the Eagles, drafting at number 3, picked Sisemore, the Patriots, spared the dilemma of choosing, selected Hannah at 4. Sisemore had a good career, playing in Philly for twelve seasons and making the Pro Bowl twice, but he's not in the NFL Hall of Fame. He did make the Eagles Hall of Fame.I miss thise days of complete OL domination and a running game that literally could not be stopped.
