So the last time this happened was Seattle vs Denver. I cant remember the exact stats for this matchup but I believe it has happened over 5 times and the defense only lost once I think.

If we keep Atlanta under 30, a tough task, we win

1966 I Chiefs (32.0) Packers (11.6) Green Bay 35, Kansas City 10
1969 IV Vikings (27.1) Chiefs (12.6) Kansas City 23, Minnesota 7
1978 XIII Cowboys (24.0) Steelers (12.2) Pittsburgh 35, Dallas 31
1984 XIX Dolphins (32.1) 49ers (14.2) San Francisco 38, Miami 16
1989 XXIV 49ers (27.6) Broncos (14.1) San Francisco 55, Denver 10
1990 XXV Bills (26.8) Giants (13.3) New York 20, Buffalo 19
2013 XLVIII Broncos (37.9) Seahawks (14.4) Seattle 43 Denver 8

Here ya go! ;)

You miss the part about the #3 scoring offense against the #27 scoring defense.

We still need to stop the other team. We have more balance, thats why theyll win. Ive said for weeks we have the most balance. Im not missing anything. Im pointing out the defense does well in this matchup, not that it means we will win, just hoping history is indicative of the future

Defense wins championships. First thing my Dad taught me about football and I still believe it. Good or even great Offense will only get you so far. Have to have a good defense backing you up too

Balance wins in my opinion.
