No one wants to talk about the Oline?

I want to see Bolden get the carries over Jackson...the guy can be as good as Ridley.
Maybe next year but the team doesn't seem to want to have him do much on offense when he is playing special teams too and they don't seem took have the all special teams depth to do that this season

It's the playoffs and its win or go home, last two games of the season.

O-line looked better because Brady was getting rid of the ball much faster.
Agree with you about the running game. Was ridiculous how they burned a grand total of 30 seconds off the clock going 3 and out while passing the ball with a 14 point lead and 7 minutes left on the clock. Just plain old stupid football. Should be running there and taking time of the clock. NEVER should have come down to an onside kick in that game. Patriots need to smarten up.
Saw some of the worst clock management in both games yesterday.
Just brutal.
Coaching in the NFL has been just as bad as the officiating.

I certainly wouldn't take it to same level that you did in terms of blaming the coaching quite as much, but I can see why not running there may have pissed you off.

The other side of the coin of course, is that it was still only a 2 score game so they still had their foot on the gas. Sure would be great to pick up a couple of first downs on the ground for many different reasons, effective clock management being the main one.

I'm not really sure why fumbling is the concern, but it's very obvious that Jackson is completely toast. I have to think that white would be better than Jackson's sub 3 yards a carry.

Unfortunately, White is averaging less than 3 yds a carry as well, and while he looks great in the passing game, doesn't seem to be anything of a threat to run.

I may be inclined to try and give Bolden a shot as well, because I agree that Jackson looks slow and old. Sadly though, Bolden hasn't shown us too much to get excited about there, either.

They need to get someone going, though.

No all-out blitzes, no overloads. Stork, Mason, Kline picked up the A gap blitzes really well. Tamba Hali was neutralized on the outside rush. Their technique was much better, but Denver will be more of a challenge.

The interior line was solid all day on Saturday, and Cannon and Vollmer did a decent job of directing outside pass rushers up the field giving Brady time to shift position in the pocket. I also liked the depth up front when Andrews came in on short yardage and goal line situations.

I didn't see anybody on the line leave the game on Saturday, so it's a big deal that the starting five can go into the Broncos game as a unit. I think the Chiefs' front 7 is better than the Broncos'. The offense should be even sharper now that the rust has been chipped off the guys who sat down the stretch.

We benefited a lot from Justin Houston being basically a nonentity, but the OL did its job against a front 7 that's still pretty good even without him.

If we're looking to assign credit for the improvement in pass protection over past weeks, I think it's primarily thanks to Edelman. When you're getting the ball out that quickly, the OL 'just' has to not suck to do its job, and to their credit they didn't suck. The Pats still don't seem to be much of a threat to run the ball, and I think any defense feels good about its chances of getting to Brady if he holds onto the ball for more than 2.5 seconds or so, but we've got a good shot at bringing home a fifth Lombardi if the line can just replicate what it did on Saturday two more times, so I'm happy with it.
